Tips on installing pallet racks

Pallet Racking installation sounds like one of those things that you will need to have someone in it, but if you follow some basic rules is actually quite simple. Below is a step by step guide to follow to install the rack.

First of all, you will need to put together some tools May you need. We recommend the following:
A tape measure
B. Chalk Line String
c. Hammer Drill
d. Adjustable Spanner.

1/.Step a

The first and most important thing to do is to measure and label properly. To mark the floor, you will need a chalk line down. Measure the distance from the back wall where you want the air to be back (take into account the size range of the beam can be either wall) as a general rule, if you use a standard 1200 x 1200 pallet mark distance to 400mm from the wall. Mark the floor in several pieces, and then with your chalk line to create a series of line length of rack you need.

2 /. Step Two

Now that you have the line you want to restore your pallet racking is the time to work, where his first upright frame will be. Place upright on the line and the Mark 2 where you will fix the base plate with screws DYNA. It is easiest to have their first set of bay and move it in and out of place. Drill into your concrete floor using heavy duty hammer drill and make sure you get a hole deeper than the length of DYNA screw. Place the first bay in place and tighten the screws to secure the DYNA framework. The first bay is by far the most important bays for installation and can not stress the importance of double checking all your measurements.

3 /. The third step

On the other bay, all you need to do is connect the beams and the frame for his first Bay. Make sure you level with a number line and mark where the next 2 DYNA screws are going to be. You will then have to move at the end of the frame of the mark you made for DYNA screw or drill new holes. Remember to check your holes drilled deeper than the length of DYNA screw or it will not tighten down properly on the stand. Now that you have your holes drilled you can move the box back into place and secure the screws DYNA. You can repeat this phase until you have installed a number of bays you need. Now that your frames on the site it's just a simple process of setting beams at the level you need. Good pallet racks will be supplied with safety locking pins to lock the beam in place. If you double check all your measurements before you start the installation should now be able to stand back and admire the installation and count the dollars you save on having to get someone to install it for you. If you need any further information or simply unsure about anything, then you should contact your rack supplier and they should be able to help.
